In 2010 I had the Lap-Band surgery. Four years later and I am 50+ heavier. It turns out that it had a leak, but as a weight loss tool it was never a fit for me. I had the band removed in November 2014 and will have Gastric Bypass surgery on January 22, 2014. I'm excited/nervous and very hopeful that this surgery will be more successful as a weight loss tool for me.
