  1. I really feel for you. I was eating soft proteins at day 6, and anything I wanted by 4 weeks since I wasn't having any issues. It is strange how there are such drastic differences!
  2. I started eggs at 6 days post-op (yes, the nut. Plan) and I have not had any issues at all.
  3. That is awesome. What advise do you have for us that have just been sleeved?
  4. Fun...here goes... SW - 268 SD (May 4) - 248 C - 233 Goal - 218 Lbs. To go - 15 lbs.
  5. Cludgie-that is a bunch of crap! Darn husbands. Hey, be grateful yours doesn't weigh 155, AND that is his highest weight ever! Sabotage him girl...just kidding.
  6. I have 2 in my lower back and was just curious if anyone else had them and if it gets better? I'm 2 weeks out and down 35 pounds since Jan. and I think I can tell a difference.
  7. I'm released for raw veggies at 8 weeks, not that far yet so not sure if it will be ok or not:)
  8. I'm almost 2 weeks post-op and drink skim milk without any problems.
  9. Thanks for sharing. I'm going on the hunt for these because I've been craving that flavor!
  10. Meggiep, THANK YOU for posting this here.
  11. Hey everyone! I had surgery on May 4th. I was very lucky not to have any bad side effects, including no gas pains which I think I was dreading the most. In hindsight, I think having a previous horrible c-section experience made this surgery much easier. I am also on a post-op diet that some of you might want to kill me for. Since day 6 I have been allowed a soft protein diet, skipping the puree food altogether. My nut. Said my teeth were my blender. I was nervous at first, but haven't had any problems. It is so crazy only being able to eat half an egg then feel stuffed! For me, I struggle most with not being able to drink while eating and not being able to put much food in my mouth. I was a fast, high volume eater before and having to relearn the sleeve way of eating is a challenge with each meal. I hate shakes post-op and am not getting in enough protein...need to work on that. Down 17 pounds since surgery but tapering off now. Oh, anyone else get a period that they weren't expecting? Ugh, 2 weeks early and BAD!
  12. Wow, that is sooooo far from the truth! And as a teacher, I'm not so sure this is the type of person I would want around my children. So sorry that happened to you!
