  2. Hi my band slipped and my surgeon is going to remove it and do a convention to Bypass. Insurance is a go as long as i complete the 90day program. Im half way through that.   4. I got stuck tonight at dinner and threw up for the first time since having my band. Almost a year now this feb. I feel worried for some reason. I know throwing up is not a good thing and can cause slippage. I ate something new tonight. Maybe that had something to do with it.

  8. In my defence.. I have lost the 14 pounds in the last month after 8 months of being banded. I maintained my weight for the 8 months buy no loss. It took me that long to feel restriction. I'm writing this to encourage those who are going through the same thing. Go for ur fills, eat right, drink ur water and at the very least walk as much as you can. It adventually does happen.   9. Just for that day. then the next day after soft foods .oatmeal yogart soups. then next day back to normal
  10. Thanks guys at Nikki just keep getting your fills if took me 6 fills later to feel restriction. I was so fustrated.. it really will happen.
  11. I just had another fill last week. Guess what I feel restriction and I'm already down 7lbs!!
  12. I've been making one egg in the microwave when i get to work. Its been getting stuck on me. Any high protein breakfast ideas out there?
  13. I have had 4fills and its been 5 1/2 months since I was banded. I have maintained my weight. But have not lost at all. I just receiced my 4th fill last week and for the first time feel restriction. I'm very excited abt that. I have abt 6cc in my band. Has anyone else had this happend them, where it took so long for weight loss and restriction
  14. I'm at the doctors right now waiting on my 3rd fill. I have yet to feel any restriction and iam the same exact weight as when I started. Maybe after today i will notice a difference. I've been so down on myself and feel like the band is not working for me. I have been eating like I should.. lacking on water and exercise as of latley (because i feel discouraged). Any encouragemeent and advise is welcome. Female Weight 240 on the dot
  15. So I was banded on feb 15 and have had 2 fills one was 4cc the sec was 2cc. Im due for my 3rd fill on june 1st. I have lost nothing but have maintained my weight. I did not loose anything post op because I only had a one day liquid diet. Any advice? Fyi... I've been tracking and following all rules except I could exersice more and drink more water. I'm starting to think this won't work for me! Diascouraged
  16. Last night I had a horrible tooth ache. When i say horrible i mean horrible. I tried 2 tylenal and then 2 hours later took 1 more tylenal. 2 more hours later i was in agony. I had no choice but to advil for the pain. My pain was gone in 20 min. I would not make this a habbit and have a dentist apt monday. I guess my queation is.. is taking a nsdi ok once a year or did I really screw something up?
