  1. Hello everybody. I was banded on Nov 15. I have a company Christmas party on the 11th of December. Do I dare have a some wine or mixed drinks, or is it too soon?
  2. glad to hear the difficulty breathing is a normal side effect. For me, normal breathing is fine, but if i take deep breaths it feels something like a side ache.
  3. Thanks for the kind words. Had surgery Monday morning. Was home by Monday evening. I can get around the house all right, but I'd hate to try to do too much more. Still sore in the sides and abdomen, and it still hurts to breath in really deeply. Throat was raw the first couple days from the breathing tube, but that has went away. Been consuming mostly Protein drinks, Jello, and yogurt so far. May try some pureed meat tomorrow.
  4. and I cannot wait. I have more hope now that I ever have. I have a lot of weight to lose (200-250lbs), but I am confident that this is going to work. I hope to share all the peaks and valleys with you all -SBS
