I don't like the sounds of this at all. I hate to say it, but you need to take care of yourself and not be intimidated by your fiance. This sounds like a disaster! Cut your losses and lose the weight for yourself and find a better man. You don't need this in your life.

Go to Diet Direct and order the blueberry protein pancakes. Eat three of them a day and you will have 45 grams of protein . I never lost any hair. Good luck!

Honestly, it was a piece of cake. Seriously! The hardest part is what you are doing right now and that's the liquid diet. I couldn't do it and called off my surgery. The doctor found out (because I canceled it through his business office) and said that it was ok for me not to drink the bariatric stuff. Each doctor is different and has a different procedure for pre-op. I actually weighed more than you. You may have discomfort in your shoulder but I didn't. You may have gas but I didn't. You may be a little uncomfortable and that I was. But only for a few days. I went back to work after five days. You won't want to eat. You will be drinking liquids. I found a great drink and that was Ocean Spray's Diet Cranberry and it only has five calories. I still drink it as it tastes so good!!! I also recommend going to Diet Direct and ordering their blueberry Protein pancakes. Easy to make - just add Water or skim milk (tastes better with the milk) and cook it in a pan with some butter spray like Pam. It's 15 grams of protein!! Good luck!

I think you are doing great! That's over 9 lbs a month and not even through the third month. Don't be so hard on yourself. You will succeed! I'm 6 weeks into banding and have lost 20 lbs. Same scenario. Good luck!

Do not despair. I have not yet been filled (banded on 11/22/10) so I can't say why you gained. I am sure that the restriction was not tight enough. Was this your first fill?

Is your last paycheck after january 11th? If so, then aren't you technically on the books till that paycheck? I don't know anything about the CARE CREDIT and it sounds like you are too young for it. What about family to help? I hope all goes well. You have come so far. Perhaps you can work out something with your employer. Good luck!

Congrats! I "graduated" from mushy to real food after only a week and have had no problems. I too have the best doctor. I just need to chew more slowly --- otherwise, it's a visit to the bathroom with a "stuck": episode. Have you had a "stuck" episode yet?

sorry to say this but I could not find one protein drink that i liked. I hated everyone of them. I skipped them completely and said if i become protein deficient, oh well. it was only a week> Good luck

Your doctor will tell you that when you are comfortable, go for it. Having just had the surgery last Monday, I'd wait two weeks.

I ate a banana too quickly the other night. Suddenly I thought I was going to puke. I went into the bathroom and stood over the toilet. Nothing happened. I was nauseous as all hell. I think this is called an "episode."

Please call your doctor ASAP. You don't want to be throwing up if it's the stomach flu and have it affect your band's placement.
