I had surgery in 2011 and at first I lost a little weight. I got down to 239 at one point. Now I am back up to 255. Every time they fill my band up I get inflamed and the fill is removed. I'm going in for an upper GI this month (July 2014) and then we will see what is happening.
 
My lapband was removed and I'm doing better.  But my weight is still up there.  2016. 
 
I'm seeing a surgeon about the sleeve and I would love to learn more about it from people here.
