Easter 2012 40lbs down

A few weeks ago I posted that I had a certain outfit that I wanted to fit into by Easter Sunday. Well...it was down to the wire..but...here it is. 40lbs down and this is an 18W suit. Resurrection Day is such an awesome day. Jesus gave His life and was resurrected so that I might be saved. He gave me new life (thus a resurrection through Him), and I feel like He is giving me new life again today. God bless you all!

I would love to wear a white/light colored suit again. It seems that my constant color I wear is BLACK.... :(

I had lost 42 pounds as of last year when I started to do my 6 month diet plan for insurance requirements. I needed to see my doctor for 6 apts. and only followed through for 4 apts because my husband convienced me that I could lose the weight on my own. Well- I haven't.... I have regained 20 of the 42 lost. I currently weight 244 pounds. I have been set at this weight now for 4 months. I had my gall bladder removed this past Feb.

    Well you can always go back on your diet plan. You've got 4 visits already under your belt! Don't give up. Take each day...each step...one at a time. You can do this!

    Did you know that as of February 1, 2012 certain insurances DO NOT require the 6 month diet before surgeries? I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and they wavied that requirement. So I am just waiting for my approval and then schedual my surgery.
