Still Losing This is a crazy battle that I have not won yet. I weigh between 205 and 195 now depending on what time of the month it is. I have lost a lot of weight and I will be posting my pictures today. I am experiencing a lot of bloat

Menstrual Cycles and the Lap Band

Maybe my symptoms are psycho somatic but I think when I am bloated, I can't eat, I KNOW when my period is coming because I begin to vomit violently any and everything. Even if I eat a few chips, my vomit will overwhelm them and I will vomit them up with a ton of saliva. I will still have the normal 5 lbs of fluid retention, but afterward I will lose it and feel fine. Does anyone have this problem too?:biggrin::rolleyes2::rolleyes3:

I am a slow loser

:bored:faint::tired:notagreeI've been reading other peoples' posts about their accomplishments and I wonder how long it's going to take me to get where I want to be, of course I'm sure a year or more, but it is inspirational to see those that have lost 60, 80 and 100 lbs. I want to wear a size 9. I don't want to be over 200 lbs anymore. I work at it. I can't wait til this summer.   So far I have went from 283lbs to 240 lbs. I want to lose more.:heh:

I'm really sticking to what I have to do.   This feels great, I can't wait to see how I will transform. It's been a long time since I felt good about myself and I hope this will make me motivated to pursue my long term goals.   It's funny how some people are born with great genes like my beautiful sister, she is tall, thin and can eat anything she wants. Saturday, July 14, 2007 -2 days post op

2 days after being banded, I am a little sore but it was worth it.   I've lost 5 lbs in 3 days being on liquids and I feel great!   I can't wait until I start really seeing the benefits, I have some great goals that I want to succeed at.   I will stick to whatever it is I need to do to get my weight managed.   :clap2:I apreciate me, I love me, after my divorce I thought life was over but I now realize it's just beginning.:scared:
