banding and hysterectomy?

Im having a hysteretomy done on Feb 9th and hoping to get banded by April. After the Hyster. I will have 6wk recovery cuz they have to open me up to do (like a c-section), do you think this is too soon after to get my band? I am currently waiting out my 6 months per insurance which will be about mid-March. I will call tomorrow to find out for sure, just wondering if anyone knew?
