I'm just wondering how long I have to wait after surgery to swim or start a water aerobics class? My dr told me walking was fine from the get-go, but I think I have to wait a certain amount of time before swimming because of healing, etc. Does anyone know? I'm 3 weeks out. Thank you.

Your surgeon is the best one to answer that, but I know w/my surgeon, we could not submerge ourselves either in a bath or the pool until all the sutures were out. I live in Florida and I had my surgery in May, so I was anxious to get in the pool to start working out, but I had to wait a while... my best suggestion would be to ask your surgeon and then go by what HE says, not anyone else....

After my first fill which was 5 weeks after surgery I was ablt to start working out again i had to take it slow but evenyually got up to 6 days a week
