Need a answer

I stopped smoking in September and the week of Thanksgiving I had a close friend killed in a accident I smoked for about a week soild and now have stopped again my surgery date is 12/28/09 and I am scared I will not be able to have it please let me know if anyone else has quit 2 weeks before and been ok
