Hi! First day in lbt

6 days since my surgery, I'm good. Just having some shouldder / neck pain, it's tolerable. I'm excited about my new journey. Just coming in to hopefully make some new friends and chat some.

it's just annoying, can't really pin point exactly what triggers the pain. I'm hoping to start going to the gym tomarrow and start walking, hope it's not too early. I do feel light headed sometimes, maybe i'm needing more protien shakes? How did your first week go?

Take it easy a little while and consult your doctor on how soon you can start excercising. Along with the shoulder pain, I later had some side cramping (sort of like the cramps you get sometimes when you walk). The doctor said it was normal and my body was just adjusting to the band.

Hang in there! :-)

Congratulations and welcome to the club. Your pain (shoulder) might also be related to leftover gas from the operation. I'm all for taking it easy right after surgery - don't overdo it. I had nothing but clear liquids for my first week, not the one protein shake either. I say you're lightheaded because you know you've just turned your life around!
