Hi Barbie!

I am doing great! I am feeling great! I am loving my band! I really thought I would resent not being able to 'pig out' yesterday. But I really didn't. I ate what I wanted, I ate a tiny bit. I felt great after my meal and I didn't even want anymore. That was a very nice surprise. I love that food doesn't 'own' me anymore. I can eat it, love it, enjoy it and then walk away from it with no guilt.

I have lost 58 lbs (not reflected on my signature because it won't be official until Monday). People are really starting to notice now at work. I just smile and say 'thank you'. Part of me is sorry I didn't do this sooner but the other part knows I wasn't ready. Even with a physical barrier in my body, this journey is still mostly mental. At least it has been for me.

I am interested to read others experiences!

i was the same way. I ate a little of everything i wanted..it was more than i thought I could eat, to be honest, but not even CLOSE to what i usually eat. I had small portions (we're talking maybe 1 tbsp) of each thing I liked...i even had a sliver of pumpkin & apple pie....

It was a great feeling to be able to eat, but not overeat! I did well and i'm so grateful for my band...and i'm definately looking forward to my third fill
