slippage

I know I am being a worry-wart but whoever it was that said her friend had a slippage on the mushies when she ate chicken scared the heck out of me. Every meal I can eat more and more and I think it's b/c the swelling is going down. I can eat about a cup of food at a time now. But then after I read that post I started worrying that maybe I've slipped. How do you know if there is a slip and how do they fix it?

Thanks. Does a cup of mushies sound like way more than a bandster 17 days out should be able to eat? I just want to make sure I'm not eating too much - but I do stop when I'm full and I never eat more than a cup or so.
