1 month after surgery - what can I expect??

Higuys - some advice needed -

I'm 1 month post op - recovery fine - no restriction yet - and fill in 2weeks.

However I do get a pain when I lie on my left hand side or on my front. I know that this is where the band is - should the healing be further on by this time or am being paranoid??

It feels that I am pushing the band or rather that whatever ties have been made to the abdominal wall are being stretched - is this nonsense or is there any grain of truth??:)

I am guess that what you are feeling while lying down is not the band, but the port...that is normal, I can feel mine too, when I am in certain positions. Good luck!!

Unfortunately in the UK the port is placed between and beneath the breasts - presumably attached to the sternum - I can feel this and it's fine.

The other pain is more localised to the left hand side - presumably where the band wraps arounnd the stoumach???

Any Ideas?:)
