NSV bikeride to Lake Tahoe!

So today hubby and I drove the car to Squaw Valley, parked the car got the bikes off the back and rode the bikes 9 miles (uphill) to Tahoe City (North Lake Tahoe). Just two months ago I wouldn't have even dared. We had lunch (a cup of chili for me) looked around at the sites and rode the bikes the 9 miles back to the car. It was such a beautiful day and a great accomplishment to know I can once again do all the fun things that make life worth living! I just wanted to share this with all my friends and support here at lapband central. The other great thing is now when I go out I am not obsessing about when, where and what I will eat. I eat to nourish my body, what a difference. Did I say I LOVE MY BAND! Thanks for listening and tell me about your great victories. Suzanne:thumbup:

I know that area. Congrats on your NSV. You deserve it, because it's not an easy ride.

Thanks, hey Michelle I see you live in Northern California. I do too I live in Portola California and work in Reno are you near where I live? Just wondering not trying to be to nosy. Looks like your doing well anyway good luck!

Hey! I live just south of Yosemite. Literally just south of one of the entrances! LOL! Twenty minutes and I'm in the park! I love the Sierras! If I couldn't live here, I'd want to live in Tahoe. Tho I just got back from a week in the Sisters, Oregon area and thats beautiful too. Can't wait to go back. So much to see and do! And lots of trees and water!
