I have my consult on Wed (Sept 16th). I have blue Cross PPO, which my dr's office says is the WORST insurance to have for lap band. I might have to pay anywhere from 10%-30% of the total cost of surgery, plus out of pocket for endoscopy (BLue Cross won't pay the surgeon to do it) OR I can just pay cash $200 a month for 7 yrs. PLUS I have to pay Cedars Sinai for the overnight stay.
Has anyone here gone thru anything similar, and can give me ANY idea how much I'm going to end up paying if I go with insurance?
AND Has anyone done an overnight stay at Cedars, who can tell me about their experience?
Thanks soooo much!!!
