I have Cigna insurance. Did anyone else have a problem getting approval? I have been through 2 denials, but still hopeful. I have met all the requirements they have asked for including 6 months under a doctor's care in weight management. In November my doc is resubmitting everything to try again. 3rd times a charm right???? Any suggestions??

I have Cigna...denied in Jan 05 after doing all the prerequist...They said I didn't have 6 consequetive months of seeing a dr. about weight lost issues...Now they don't pay for weight consultations so I went with back pain,blood pressure, pain in general...etc and then discussed weight loss and my progress while I was there.. and as soon as my 6 months were up they Approved!!!Good luck ..it can be done...P.S. I friend of mine did this at the same time and she lost weight on the 6 month dr plan and then they denied her cause she was now not over 100lbs over weight...

I have Cigna too! My paperwork is in their hands as I type this all 99 pages of it. I hope they approve me. I dont know why this has to be so difficult for all of us.

I hope 3 is your magic number!! I too have Cigna but have not been under a drs. guidance for 6 consec months dangit. Hopefully this will work for you!! Please let us all know!
