Any others out there with MS?

Hi, I was recently diagnosed (may 09) with MS. This is the main reason why I have decided to get the band. I will not only be healthier but loosing the xtra weight will help with the heat intolerance, horrible fatigue and help out with mobility if it ever gets really bad for me. I was wondering if any of you bandsters out there also suffer from MS. How has the band helped you with the disease? If you havent had surgery yet, did you decide because of the disease?

Thank you,

Well i don't know if this counts but I have Trigeminal Neuralgia and they are actually thinking that it could be the beginning of MS. And I have a crap load of other things wrong with me, and I'm 19. So yea this surgery was definitely to hurry up and get healthy.

I am sorry for your diagnosis, i hope you dont get MS it can be a really terrible disease. I struggle with it everyday. I really hope getting the band will help me on my path to being a healthier person. I feel like loosing the extra weight will be a benefit and help with my MS symptoms. I wish you luck on everything and you will be on my mind  please let me know how things turn out for you.
