OMG my first PB episode..TMI

So I had the unfortunate luck to have my first PB episode !! I've been following my diet guidelines to the letter and it happened while having some tomato florentine Soup with saltine crackers. I felt the doup in the middle of my chest and upon reaching the ladies room out came the slime !!! (YUCK) :) It wasnt painful and I was very much surprised how effortlessly it came out but needless to say I am back on liquids for today and tommorow.

I called my surgeons office and the nurse said that I probably ate the soup too fast considering it happened 5 minutes into the meal.Lesson learned I need to eat SLOWER even if its just soup !!!

OMG FFG!

Glad to hear it went fairly quickly though...... I've read on these boards that sometimes they sit around in distress for 30-45 minutes. ACK!

I've learned to eat yogurt by sticking in my spoon, and only eating what clings to it! Takes me nearly 1/2 hour to eat a 3/4 cup of yogurt!

ugh.. the whole thought of slime filling my mouth .. totally grosses me out... I never want to experience that. Im sure it definately teaches you to slow down... I have to keep having that visual as a reminder... SLLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWW...
