Is it gas or hunger ???

Hey people, just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone else having to play the guessing game. Most of the time I cant tell if the pain that I am getting is from the gas or because I'm actually starting to feel hunger again ?? I just tend to eat about 1/2 a cup of Soup when I feel something ( which takes me about an hour) and see.

Anyone else expereince this or have any advice ???

It still takes you an hour to eat 1/2 cup of soup?? WOW! I wish! I wondered at the beginning to. Once my stomach actually started to growl though, I was able to differentiate it from gas. When you eat does the feeling go away?

Even one month post-op, I still have a hard time translating what my stomach is trying to tell me. It's definitely a learning curve. I'd suggest waiting like 15-30 minutes after the pain and if it's still there, then see if eating helps.

Good luck!

Yea, cause it seem to loose intrest in what Im eating quick, which Im taking as a good sign and hope to continue. When I'm not looking fwd to the next "bite" or spoon then I just put it down. I might come back to it later. Some of the "feeling" goes away but I guess I'm still having gas issues cause I then get the pressure in between ny breast with some belching...I guess unforgettable is right this is going to be some learning curve !!!
