Dehydration

Does anyone else have absolutely no desire to eat or drink anything? That's me right now. I'm pretty sure I'm pretty dehydrated because of it, but I can barely bring myself to take sips and I'm worried that it will hurt if I try to drink more or faster.

Unforgettable. . .:)

I moved on to stage 2 yesterday (even though it was formally today). . .(doctor approved. . .) but he did caution to not rush things. . .

So basically my options are broth, Jello, milk, applesauce, Protein shakes, or sugar free pops. . .not much fun but beats just broth and that clear Isopure Protein Drink stuff. . .

anyway. . .onward I go!

Are you allowed to have yogurt?

I've mentioned this in like a million other threads but I just love it so much! Greek yogurt is my new favorite thing. By itself tastes like sour cream. Mix in sweet stuff, puree fruit, splenda, etc and tastes amazing. I've been doing 1/2 cup yogurt with 1 tbsp reduced fat peanut butter. It has lots of protein, low carb and the one I get (fage total 0%) has no fat.

Unforgettable, yeah, totally forgot, I am allowed yogurt.. .low fat no fruit added (meaning pieces) that sounds great. . .I will have to try it! I am willing to try anything at this point!! Thanks so much for the suggestion! I will let you know if I like it!

I am doing much better with my liquids. Currently I'm getting in about 1 1/2 bottles of water a day, 2 protein drinks and a popsicle. This is a BIG improvement for me and I no longer feel dizzy anymore. I WISH I could have yogurt like you guys, I'm not allowed thickened liquids until one week post-op. Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter since there is hardly a desire.
