banded around July 8th?

I am just looking for anyone banded around July 8th and wonder how people are feeling. I personally had a lot of shoulder pain and pain in my chest to start with. However, now I would say that my port incision is the thing bothering me the most. It just still feels tight if I try to stretch a little making me not want to stand all the way straight. My chest pain is less now and comes and goes. I have been less gassy lately too. When I sleep, it still feels weird to lay on my side (it feels like everything in my body is shifting toward the bed....very weird feeling).

What are you eating these days? I am going to chicago on vacation this weekend and am concerned about what I can eat AND drink (there will be lots of time spent in bars).

Just want to hear from some of you out there...

I was banded on July 13th. i had shoulder pain for about 4 days or so. I am still eating mushies for another week. I will have a fill on August 11.

I think you can eat whatever you want pretty much if you are not on mushies. Have fun on your trip
