Pre surgery liquid diet

Hello!

I have a surgery date!!! November 22nd. So I have a two week liquid diet I need to follow. I have questions regarding where to get high protein broth and the high protein mix.

My doctor suggest that I go through a company called "med-diet" and thats fine, however I would like to do this the least expensive and best tasting way. So on that line, any hints and suggestions would greatly appreciated.

FitRX.com has tons of Protein stuff. Drugstore.com has stuff that FitRX doesn't have - but shop FitRX first, since the prices are about a 3rd of the cost at drugstore.com.

I like Ultramet. If you blend it with just a little bit less liquid and refridgerate overnight, it gets a consistency like pudding... and the flavor isn't bad. I mix my Breakfast up the night before. Last night, I mixed apple juice, vanilla Ultramet, Cinnamon, Nutmeg & just a tiny hit of Ginger + vanilla extract and a little sweetener to offset the spices. This morning I had something that tasted like apple pie pudding.

Atkins and Carb Solutions are good, too.
