Is something wrong with my band??

Hi! I have about 7.5 cc's in my 10 cc band and still have VERY LITTLE restriction! I don't understand. Could there be something wrong with my band? I haven't had ANY complications at all. I had the band put in last September but have only managed to lose 40 lbs. He takes the fluid out and measures each time I get a fill so it's in there. I'm not sure what to do/think. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!

yeah - you may need more fill.

i needed 8.5cc's before i knew i had the band and have maintained "around" your current fill level @ 7.2ccs. some need more, some less - i was on the high side, you may be too.

i had my surgery oct 08, and have only had restriction in the last 2 months. when i had 7.5 in my 10cc band i had very little restriction, so i went for a fill and they put 0.5cc in and it was too tight. they took a bit out and i'm at 7.8cc now and it is perfect for me, i think maybe you need another fill. I have lost 50lbs so far and 15lb of it is since my last fill, you need to go see your doc.
