Newbie, looking for info

I went to Weight loss Center here in CA. I attended the seminar on 7/2/09, and had the endoscpy, sonogram, blood/urine work on 7/18/09. Spoke with the psych tech on 7/24/09 and I guess the next step is with the nutritionist.

I am curious to know if anyone can help me with the following questions:

I find I am having to be aggresive with each step and call the center to find out what next? My consultant quit the day after my seminar.

I was not informed to lose weight prior to surgery, should I start now?

Has anyone gone thru Weight Loss Centers here in Ca. that can give me some info on their experience?
