do u have esophageal pain when takin meds?

When I take prescription meds or even tylenol. I have excruciating pain in my esophagus. It's like when the drug dissolves or something. I asked the lap band doc and he sd he had never heard of it. I asked my regular doc and she prescribed nexium which doesn't help much. Anyone have similar experiences?

It's not normal. You need to see a Gastroenterologist, I'd think, and get that checked out. Don't leave it...you may have an issue that's easily fixed if caught, or can do damage if not. I assume you didn't have the symptoms before the band? If not, then call a GI doc and get checked out. Good luck!
