My Band making me MONEY!

The company I work for started up a health campaign in January. Its a biggest loser kind of thing. My team "Fat Chance" is made up of me and 3 other guys. We really did not do much of anything to win, but WIN we did! We won the % fat loss category. There was also a total weight lost category.

Top prize was $250, or a Nintendo Wii. I know what I am doing with my cash. That amount of moola should just cover a 6 month membership to a local gym.

I am looking to hit my goal of 250 by the end of the year.

Anybody else have an employer doing anything like this?

Our company did the exact same thing!! We had our own version of The biggest loser over a 10 week time frame (WAY too long BTW) and our team won!!

I was completely irked that I lost out of 1st place overall by less than one pound!! Keeping in mind our last weigh in was 2 days after we got back from a 2 week trip to WDW, and I STILL lost, but I digress!

We didn't win anything, but our company matched $100 for every pound lost and donated it to our local food bank. We were lucky enough to walk the check to them (for $5800) and they were BEYOND excited! So we did win, and the fat we lost was turned into food and fed thousands!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WIN!!!
