Vena Cava filter

Hi,

I am scheduled to have an IVC filter place in the a.m. and wondered do I stop having anything to eat or drink (mainly drink since I am on my 9th day preop diet) after midnight? My doctor's office and hospital didn't say anything about not having anything to eat or drink after midnight.
