hello my question i guess is that i get two different direction on how to eat the first 6 weeks and i am not sure if i am hurting my self or not one book i got from the hospital is i cant eat or drink any thing uless its clear liquid and the ohter book said after the first week i can start eating cream stuff

Follow the eating plan that your surgeon gave you. The hospital gives everyone the same booklets, but each surgeon has different requirements for their patients. Make sure you call the surgeon if he did not give you a specific plan. I was on two weeks of liquids and one week of soft foods. My surgeon said it was important that I heal first, which is why he recommends 2 weeks of liquids before moving to softs, then solids. Hope this helps.
