Port issues ???

I am 8 months post surgery - and have just started to experience some really bad pains in my port area. I can really feel it, which is eerie to me. BUT - my main question, is if anyone else is experiening pain when you bend or move suddenly? If so, what do you do to prevent it?

Contact your surgeon about this!

You definately need to call your surgeon, that doesnt sound right.

Sounds like you need to talk to the doc! However, out of curiosity, have you changed your workout routine? If you happen to have added more ab-related exercise, remember that your port is stitched to abdominal muscle and you could have irritated muscle with pulling. Just a thought.

I have definitely started working out more, so I am hoping it's just some irritation. I have a call into my docs now.

Thanks for your replies!!!
