Saturday morning.

They are calling for storms tonight but I hope they hold off. We are supposed to go to a BBQ tonight out at the Lake. I'm bringing polish sausages, watermelon and grapes. I wanted to bring something light and tasty and thought that would do it.

I baked 4 pans of brownies last night. We are having a bake sale at church this weekend. I'm so glad that I don't have to cut them up because I would only end up snacking on them.

Well, off to go start on my housework. We have a small pool party planned for tomorrow and I need to start cleaning the house.

good morning, Violets..

We Violets in Alabama are fried... in several ways. We ate at Top of the River last night and had fried pickles, fried onion rings, fried fish, fried crab, fried water. Ok, maybe not fried water, but it was the only thing. We were waited on by a Clay Aiken sound alike so I was in heaven. We won't speak of the margi's. la la la la la.. hiccup... la la la la.

We're up and around for the day chilling in the a/c before we head out for adventures.

Laura, Did they have your baby shower for you yet? And if they did, will those clothes I sent fit Carson?

Most of the housework is done. I fixed a salad for lunch and now I'm headed to the shower. After church we are headed off to a BBQ.

Remember a couple of months ago I took that Reboot class? It was a 6 week 3 nights a week with a personnal trainer. We'll one of the girls lives at the Lake and has invited all of us over. It will be good to see how everyone has been doing.

Still here Suzanne, has been a big day. My SIL her DS, DIL and 5 grandkids showed up late last night. BIL, SIL, their DS, his wife and 2 DD's showed up today. A niece and her boyfriend got here yesterday. And all of us that actually live here! Kinsey was in hog heaven!!!

At one point she ask me about my great niece, who is 2, she says "Granny who is Kaycee?" I said she is your cousin sitting right next to you---she tells me "She isn't my cousin, cousins are boys!" Every cousin she has living here is a boy! We do have my oldest granddaughter but seldom see her, Kinsey would not know her.....so all of her other cousins ARE boys!!!

So anyway I am exhausted. Another BUSY day tomorrow, that is when the anniversary party is.

SIL still looks rough, although her eyes appear less sunken. She is still barely eating. I gorged tonight, just to show I can! She has everyone convinced the band is death personified.......grrrrrrrrr

Gotta hit the shower and head to bed.

Morning girls!

We had a wonderful time this trip!!! The weekend was a blast...and the violets held true to themselves, their diversities, and their commonalities too! There is a bit of magic w/ this group.

On my way to the west coast...should get home @ 7pm tonight...just in time to pack for Italy.

To our violets that did not make this trip...you were missed terribly. Next year...Haydee's wedding!
