Hi everyone....so i have my consultation tomorrow and i must say im nervous for the fact that i have been "big" my whole life and im just ready to take the next step to take my life into control...my family has mixed emotions some support my idea and some are against it!! I just feel ready for a change so hopefully all will go well!!!! I had a question for everyone how much approx did the surgery cost you??? and how nerve wracking is the process itself??? i bet its mixed emotions....scared...excited...nervous!! eeeek :wub:

Hey Roxy. Congrats!!! People are always going to have an opinion but as long as you know this is right for you then that's all that matters. For me I didn't have insurance, all I had to pay for was my preop as I was my surgery was funded by my hospital. As for the whole process it's definitely nerve wracking, you question whether this is actually the right thing to do and whether or not you've exhausted every other option. I was done may last month and I still have doubts but I know overall I wouldn't of been able to keep the weight off if I did it by myself. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions =)
