How are you doing so far ????

I was banded 10/14/08 ... So far I'm down approx 35 pounds. I just had major Gallbladder problems, and had it removed 2 weeks ago. Anyone else going thru this??

I just wanted to know how you're doing - How much have you lost? What do you do for exercise? What keeps you motivated?

Thanks for the update :-)

Bobbie

Hey Boobie! I hope you are recovering well from your surgery!!!

Things are going well, I work out a lot, I have lots of energy, I walk everywhere, saves money and I burn some fat while I am at it lol.

I eat everythinh I want (mostly healthy fodo of course) except for fried food and sugary things like Cookies and ice cream, I do not count calories but I will say I eat about 1300 to 1500 calories a day. Some days 1200. I think I follow the atkins diet without trying lol.

I work out about 5 to 6 times a week, 70 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of strenght training :frown:

I am now 179 pounds, ive lost 112 pounds, I am amazed but the hard work has paid off. I would like to lose 20 more pounds and Ill be excited then off to get a tummy tuck :welldone2: sometime in early 2010.

good luck on your journey, you are doing great

Hey! I haven't stopped by here in a while, but wanted to say that getting the LapBand was the best decision I've made in a long time! I just got back from the beach and felt GREAT in my new bathing suits, new outfits, etc. I still have a way to go, but it's great to finally get some of this weight off!

I wish everyone the best!:blushing:

Cindy
