I need a fill!!

I had surgery in Mexico, got an over fill the second time. Ended up at the emergency room to get an unfill that was awful but that was 7 months ago now I can't find a Dr. in the Sacramento area to give me a fill since I had the original surgery in Mexico. HELP

Try looking up Fill Centers USA to see if they have something nearby. You can also check with your Mexican surgeons office to see if they have a list of "friendly" fill agencies in your area. Another option is to go back to Mexico.

Unfortunately this is a common problem for people who are banded in another country (or another county, for that matter!) Surgeons don't like to take on patients that aren't theirs.

Good luck finding someone!

And for bandsters contemplating getting banded away from home...get a plan for fills NOW. I had no clue, when I got my band, that the fills would be so time consuming and important! But without them, for most of us the band doesn't do anything.
