first fill 5/20

I had my first fill on wednesday.Did not know what to expect but it went off without a hitch. Really surprised me. The doctor gave me 3cc and said that he thinks that i have a 14 band, but he did not have his computer in the room with him so he was not sure. He said that i should fill some restriction now and I think that i do. for lunch that day he said that i could have anything did not need to be on liquids. I stopped at MCDonalds on my way to work and had 4 nuggets and a parfait and felt stuffed. Yesterday ate less than before and today for lunch i was eating chicken and must not have chewed well enough and oh my god, it must have gotten stuck and I was in horrible pain until it came back up and then i felt fine. I go back in 3 weeks for another fill and I hope this stays with me, and does not go away after a few days I hope that it is just not swelling and then i will feel nothing again. I hope that my next fill really helps too. Do you guys think it will stay or go away???

I had my first fill yesterday, 5/21! So I can't really add the voice of experience here, but I can at least say that we're in the same boat.

I haven't eaten solid food yet; my surgeon told me Clear Liquids until tonight (about 36 hrs) but I know they're all frequently different in their recommendations. However, the good news is I haven't been hungry. In fact, I'm a little bit nauseated. If that continues beyond tonight, I might get somewhat worried, but for now I see it as a good. I do feel a bit bloated and achy, but no more so than mild menstrual cramps.

Good luck, and you're not alone!
