Looking For Doctor

hI ! Everyone I am looking to see if anyone has been banded at UCSF Medical center by Andrew Posselt or any other surgeon there. I am just starting the process and don't know too much about the place. Is there any extra out of pocket fees from the doctors? How long does it take from the time you hand in all your paper work to the time of surgery? If anyone can contact me that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to LBT! I don't know your doc...where is UCSF??? Geez, I don't even know which state you are in! Otherwise I could direct you. More info please! :)

Oh, and welcome again to LBT. Keep pressing on, you'll get your info!

Hi ! This is Cori Gleffe. UCSF Medical Center is in Sanfransisco California.I have Blue Cross Insurance and that is the closest place that my insurance will let me go to.I live in sacramento California. The doctor there is Dr. Andrew Posselt. I haven't heard anything about him or the medical center. So I am looking for anyone who knows anything about UCSF.

Oh, that's very helpful. There's a good sized California group here so sit tight...I'm in North Carolina so, well, ya know. I have no clue.

I did, however, do a Search here on LBT for "Posselt" and nothing came up. So his name has not been mentioned on this site. Is he new to banding? You are very smart to research your doc well. I hope something comes up.

Thank you Kathy. i'll keep looking.
