What Happened!

I had surgery Dec. 22nd. and have had four fills and my band was supposed to have 7.5 cc. I told my Doc. that I did not feel any restriction. She withdrew the fluid and found that the band only contained 2.5 cc. What happened to the other 5 cc?

Only a fill under fluoroscope can answer that for sure. Either they are not very good at finding your port or something is leaking. Ask them to do a fill under fluoro as soon as they can to figure this out. If there is no leak, then they are just inept. Are you going to the same bunch as Jacquie?

make sure no matter what you get your fills done under exray. i learned the hard way and had a leak and had to have revision surgery before i was able to lose a single pound!
