Allergic reaction???

I had the lap band about 4.5 weeks ago, this morning when I got up, I have Hives all over my body, the palms of my hands, They are swollen and itchy. Has anyone ever had this problem, Do you think it is caused from the lap band??? WORRIED!!! :laugh:

    I was going to ask this same question, I have begun to itch all over my chest, neck, stomach but especially my breasts! very strange, I too wonder if is some sort of allergic reaction to the band (banded 3.5 months ago)

    I didn't get hives, but I started itching all over for a few days. My primary care gave me a med for the itching and it went away after 2 days. No one seemed to think I was allergic to the band, but I wonder because I am allergic to adhesive tape and other weird things!
