1st fill tomorrow

I'm getting my 1st fill tomorrow. I was wondering how long all of you had to fast before a fill.

They just told me not to eat anything before my fill - that day. My post-fill instructions are 2 days of liquids and 1 day of soft foods/mushies - then back to solids. I'm getting a fill tomorrow too (my 4th). I'll be thinking about you. Good luck!! Becky

i got my first fill yesterday. only 2ccs. its not a big deal. takes about 3 minutes.

i dont feel any difference tho and i can still eat solids. is that normal?

Hi Catemc. I had no restriction after surgery, none after my first fill, and none after my second fill. Things did change after my third fill. Everyone is different, so it is hard to say what is "normal". Sometimes it can take a few days, or even a week or two for a fill to take full effect. Good luck to you!!! Becky

I didn't fast for either fill. I felt nauseous after my first fill, so I expected the same for my second. I made sure to eat a good breakfast the morning of my second fill, since I knew I wouldn't have anything besides liquids for the rest of the day.
