high altitude

I posted a while back wanting to know how being in a high altitude place would affect the band. No one knew. Now I can say that it did not affect my band at all. I was in La Paz, Bolivia for a week at 12,000 feet and could eat pretty much the same as at home.

The long flight was another matter. On the pressurized airplane I could get nothing down.

Just thought I would let you all know.

It did affect me. I live at sea level, went to Red River N.M. in February with perfect restriction. I could have eaten just about anything, but watched it very close. Elevation is 10,300 ft there. I was really concerned that I had lost all restriction, but as soon as I returned home, it was back.

Next time I will know what to expect and won't stress so much.

I travel a great deal and after flying I feel more restricted.

I just have to take my time and eat properly an not be in a hurry to eat.
