I am considering being banded. How do I go about finding the reputations of the local surgeons here in the KC area?

I have read most of the posts and it seems that a lot of you have choosed Dr. Malley. Why him over everyone else? How are his rates compared to other Dr.'s?

Are there any Dr's to avoid like the plague?

I am going to be banded by Dr. Hoehn with SMMC on May 6th. I have heard great things about Dr. Malley. I don't think you could go wrong with either Dr. I have been researching the band since 05 and was going to go with Malley but my insurance wouldn't cover the band at that time. I think if you go to obesityhelp.com and so a search you can find testamonials for both doc's.

I was banded by Dr. Hoehn on march 29th and couldn't be happier with the whole experience! Everyone throughout the whole process has been exceptional and I see his P.A. Tim for my fills and he is wonderful too!
