Holy Moley -- $275 for a fill?!

I had no idea! :scared2: I haven't been banded yet-- waiting for approval, and I just found out this news about the cost of a fill! Does anyone know if CareFirst Blue Choice pays for fills?

On average, in your first year after banding, how many fills have you had?

Thanks for your help!

I don't have the same insurance but that is what my doc charges my insurance company ($295).

I am at 10 months and I have had 5 fills and 1 unfill, I have not had a fill in three or four months and I don't see the need for one in the near future.

Thanks, Jodi! I hope my insurance will cover some of that charge.

You have done so well!! You are really an inspiration.
