NYC nutritionist & psychiatrist

Hi, I'm on my journey to have the lap band surgery and I've done most of my testing(GI series, stress test, ekg, ultrasounds) but still need to see a nutritionist & psychiatrist before everything is submitted to the insurance company. My doctor gave me a few names but said I can use someone else since he is not affiliated with any of them. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good nutrionist and psychiatrist in the New York City area that deals with lap band patients? Thanks for your help.

-Chris

(oops I forgot I still need to make an introduction thread )

Hi Chris - For my Psych - I went to Dr. Huberman. He's on 40th between Park and Lex...212-692-9285.

For my Nutritionist, I used the staff @ NYU that are assosicated with my Surgeon, Dr Fielding.

Hope this helps
