31 bmi?

Hi, I am new here.

I have a 31 bmi, sleep apnea, high colest., among a few other things. Do you think someone would do lapband for me?

Thanks,

Diana in MN

Possibly...31 is a little below the guidelines but you could call around and see if a surgeon would do it. If you would be using insurance and they have set guidelines that you do not meet, it is unlikely that you would be approved though.

I flew down to Mexico with a BMI of 31.

You will most likely have to pay out of pocket for surgery, so that's why the next best thing is Mexico.
