Fill discomfort - not from needle.

Does anybody else feel the band as it is being unfilled and refilled? When they draw the fluid out and put it back in during a fill I feel a sensation kind of like heartburn. It does not last very long but it is an odd feeling. That bothers me more than the needle does.

Yeah, I know what you mean, Dan. I've only had a couple of complete unfills, and the first one was early on, so there wasn't much in my band anyway, and I didn't feel anything at all. Now that my band is very full, the doctor did a complete unfill to measure my total, and it was kind of uncomfortable. I can't really describe it exactly, but it was like pressure in my chest in a way, both with the unfill and the refill. When he was pulling it out and putting it back in, it kind of felt the same.

Well, at least now I know I am not the only one. :) I have noticed that with each fill it is a little more uncomfortable.

Like they say, misery loves company.
