Hi- I just stumbled on this site and was wondering if anyone had surgery or has heard about surgery at St Elizabeths. I wnat the lap-band which they do, but am thinking of the REALIZE which UMass does. Any info would bw appreciated. Also, what is the time frame at UMass from seminar to surgery? (roughly)

thanks, and hope to chat some more

Hi Babyfat. I am surprised that I missed this thread. Welcome!

I am pre band, but in my search for a facility and physician, I registered for the Informational Seminars that the hospitals offer those trying to make a choice and wanting to know more about the procedure and facility.

I would suggest looking up the info at the hospital site online and then registering to attend one of their free evening presentations .
