Pain in sides?

My husband got banded on Feb. 17 and a few days ago and then again today he is complaining of pain in his sides...he thinks it feels like pain in his kidneys? The first time he hadn't drunk a lot of Water and after drinking some he felt a little better, but today he has drunk a good amount of water.

any ideas on this??? Thanks!

Kidney pain is usually across the lower back. He should call his surgeon on Monday.

Mine ended up being my gallbladder and I did not have same symptoms as everyone else so it was hard to find. I demanded an ultrasound which showed I had: "some sludge and what looked like a couple stones"

Yah right! once they took it out and they got to look inside I had over 30 stones and the walls were so caked with cholesterol it was no wonder I had pain.

Demand for real tests.
