I am looking for local support meetings for lap-banders. Please title your response with the town or county in Pa. where the meeting is held then fill in times, dates etc.. in post.

I had my band done in philly but have trouble making the meetings and I need face to face support from fellow banders- maybe even make a few local-band friends!

Lehigh Valley Hospital - last wed of month at 6pm

is the support group at Lehigh Valley for banders or all gastric surgery patients, if anyone knows?

Trisha - Lehigh Valley Hospital does most of their mtgs together. A few times a year that separate band/gastric in different rooms.

Thanks. Had my surgery with Geisinger and they have plenty of meetings around but almost no banders as they don't do a lot of bands period. Although I guess my biggest support group is my daughter who was banded last year. So she's my go-to person so far.
