I know that Texas Medicaid will pay for the regular surgery (sorry im not sure what its called lol) but wondering if anyone knows if it will pay for lap band too?

I know that Medicare will cover lap band but Medicaid has different rules. Your best bet is to call the medicaid office and ask. Make sure you have plenty of time to be on hold! Good luck!

As of March this year, the anwser is yes. But call to ask for the specifics on this. It's a new program that's being offered. Best of luck to all!
